Desperate need of government

There are no words to describe the Italy of today, there are no words to describe the conditions in which most citizens of this country: casual, laid off workers, unemployed workers threatened and blackmailed referendum with "democrats" who have sabotaged the status of workers' rights in 1970, a law that is one of the cornerstones of the employment relationship, not to mention the Vesuvian towns that now coexist with the landfill, due to the inability of the Government of give concrete answers to those people, or even the sad and serious situation of the citizens of L'Aquila, forced to live in a ghost town in the truest sense of the word. We can say without a shadow of a doubt that this time is L'Aquila in the image of Italy, a country collapsed.

A country where the public school and University were destroyed by heavy financial cuts and a consequent privatization process that will make the Education, the privilege of a few rich people, not by merit. Education that it should be ensured at all to an efficient state, which focuses on the citizen as an individual that has to grow and one day will make a contribution to society.

The Italian Constitution states clearly that "The Republic lays down general rules for education and establishes state schools for all orders and degrees. Public and private persons have the right to establish schools and institutions of education, without cost to the State "(art. 33) which means that the State's duty is to ensure education for all citizens through state schools, and above all ensure access to all able and deserving students through scholarships (article 34).

In This also includes the health care is in shambles, lack of hospital beds and lack of actual expenditure items and, therefore, a welfare to assist all citizens, without distinction of sex, ethnicity or religion.

In other words the three pillars on which the State is completely faulty, with a youth unemployment rate, as pointed out recently, has increased to 29%. This means that new graduates can not find work, there is no guarantee them no certainty, because all the labor laws enacted in recent years have built a system in which the much-vaunted "flexibility" and the resulting "choice" mean Real instability, lack of certainty, lack of prospects for all of us who are outside the labor market.

The consequence of all this is the famous "brain drain" abroad to the countries of northern Europe or the United States where the market does not reject us, indeed.

I remember years ago when it was launched by the Prodi Government Act 3 +2, which introduced the three-year degrees, the so-called "short cycle", that after the first three years would have to give opportunities to all attempting to enter the labor market, but no employer would take days today a recent graduate with just three years behind, where are the specific skills? Where is the necessary preparation?

Today we find ourselves faced with a system of education extremely precarious, dismantled, which provides no certainty for the future. We need a serious reform of the public University, which reformulates the provision of training of many faculty and inserted immediately after graduating with a link to the labor market, changing the formula of the "stage" that, at present, is essentially a real form of exploitation for young graduates, who find themselves working more than 10 hours a day without a salary that guarantees a minimum income.

And then I think the international mobility, which should be guaranteed to all as an imperative, ie provide mandatory for all students a study period abroad of not less than three months, at the expense of the state, with scholarships provided under a system that follows the trend of income per capita, but in a fair and just, helping most all the people from the most disadvantaged in society.

So this country is in desperate need of serious reforms that create new jobs by establishing controls that prevent the various cases of "parentopoli" or "direct call" instead of the normal competitions.

waste should be eliminated, as the funds allocated state for large but useless works such as the TGV and the bridge over the Strait of Messina, to cite two cases known to most people, which by the way these works would only increase the power of the Mafia, not just to the south.

To do this you need a government that thinks of the good of the country, the good of all, and so now it is not.

need a new ruling class, technicians, experts are at the service of citizens in a serious and transparent, there is no time to wait because we are dealing with a country dogged by a severe economic crisis international and more than ten years of misrule.

We talk about also the role of parties in society, as catalysts for social, as the only forces that can and should represent the interests of citizens at the institutional level, but today it is not, unfortunately. The parties are guilty of having created a system of corruption and market seats and jobs through spoils system. They left their particular interests prevail instead of listening to citizens' problems and solutions to serious problems.

It 's true that you can not say "yes but so much the politicians are all alike, because it's too easy to arrive at conclusions populist like that, but it is also true that the right and left together have been complicit in heavy scandals that have seen them involved, to a greater or lesser extent.

of the majority of the offenses is useless to speak as they are, alas, also famous worldwide, but for this other side of the opposition forces who profess to champion of the Constitution, law and democracy should conduct themselves accordingly and avoid making more mistakes, because it is not possible or conceivable that things happen like that of the primaries in Naples, where the fraud had distorted the election of the candidate for mayor Cozzolino. And is it acceptable that a member of the Democratic Party, Senator Gasbarro, is one of the two promoters of the amnesty for political parties in the decree "milleproroghe" that allows all parties to pay only € 1000 in fines to the municipalities for illegal billboards in the campaign.

Just as it is possible that the largest opposition party leaders such as on leave. Calearo, passed the mixed group of "leaders" who saved the Berlusconi government from what was supposed to be the final crisis before Christmas.
